As believers, Jesus Christ is the center of all that we do.  This is especially true when it comes to the worship and praise of our God.  Without Jesus we would have no reason to sing praises to our God.  Our sin would have separated us from our God. We would have to tremble in fear.  Yet, Christ has restored our relationship with God.  This gives us every reason to rejoice. Now we can stand before God in joy and thanks for all that he has accomplished through Christ.

Our worship consists of two important things.  In our worship we open our hearts to receive the saving truth of God's Gospel.  In the order of service that we use, in the songs that we sing, in the scriptures we read, and in the sermons that we hear, God communicates to us his love and forgiveness found in Christ.  We also open our arms and lips to give to God the praise and glory due to his unlimited love. Through our hymns, prayers and offerings we offer up thanks to our Savior God.
